Our Cast Nylon’s toughness, low coefficient of friction and good abrasion resistance make it an ideal replacement for a wide variety of materials from metal to rubber.
Using our Cast Nylon reduces lubrication requirements, eliminates galling, corrosion and pilferage problems, and improves wear resistance and sound dampening characteristics. It also weighs only 1/7 as much as bronze. Our Nylon Slipper Pads used in steel rolling mills have replaced gun metal, phosphor bronze and other materials because of their excellent wear resistance properties thus increasing the life and performance of the pad. Slipper pads made by Raasi, are extremely durable and efficiently absorb shocks and blows, preventing vital machinery parts from being damaged and increasing machine lifespan. They are also engineered to optimise lubricity to increase machine lifespan and increase service life.

Our Under Rollers have been developed using sophisticated chemistry. Utilising years of experience, phenol formaldehyde compound combined with high strength fabrics and moulded under extreme pressure and temperature creating a very durable and versatile under roller. Our under rollers are very hard and consequently roll well.
Our under rollers are used in cable and wire making machinery. They are used in wire stranding machine to support and guide the rotating machine parts.
All under rollers are manufactured as per customers size and requirement.

Designed for use in Steel Re-Rolling mills, our fibre bearings are made of high strength fabrics and special long lasting compounds that are moulded under heat and extreme high pressure.
Our high pressure presses and moulds ensure that fibre bearings are manufactured to specifications with correct pressures, cycle times, conditions and temperatures. Our bearings are manufactured with pressure applied perpendicular to bearing load surfaces that gives fibre bearings exceptional and unique mechanical strength and extended wear cycles.
Our fibre bearings offer load bearing capacities equivalent to those of gun metal but, unlike metallic bearings, will not seize to metal shafts. Our fibre bearings are frequently preferred to metal bearings because of their longer life and ease of replacement.
Our fibre bearings are also excellent thermal insulators so flow through lube oil or water is strongly encouraged to help cool bearings and minimize heat related dimensional growth. Cooled bearings retain their hardness and extend bearing life.
